What Went On Last Month?
A lot of learning! Basically in two major areas.... Computers and Effieciency!
These two areas have dominated to such a degree that tree advancement is on hold!
The older equipment is still needed for offline work, but data transfer is an eventuality.
While modern cpu's speed automation, handwork tasks are still necessary-
Sadly, the time spent trying to bring the oldest equipment up to date proved almost futile.
Though it is now only for offline work, it's capability to run the photo-
An unexpected major increase in productivity occurred within the census work this month!

What's Planned For This Month?
Essentially the same plan is still in effect, now with IT/Computer work to be at the forefront.
Unexpected hardware issues combined with the sudden massive influx of data created a time drain!
More "Founding Documents" work....The Constitution Ammendment images and their hover links.
There are many other important documents shaping our history that may be added later.
Page linking of census CD's takes several steps. The first (Linking to all years or states) is finished.
The second step of making "Census CD Balloon/Bubble Descriptors" is an ongoing project.
Monthly Backups... these items will remain here as a checklist for admin monthly progress.
An important excercise for any website or even private family tree. Showing it here for a reminder!
How Will All This Help Users?
The goal, while not yet fully realized, is to provide a full complement of census file availability.
They must not only be available, but sorted and identified so users can quickly view the proper ones.
By making them available sooner, all users can begin to validate their own trees properly.
The significance of a user being able to "spot check" on demand is an extreme accomplishment!
The advancement of current/present-
Living members will someday need to be researched for information...That someday is now started!
Together the two software advancements when fine tuned should allow for tree work to resume.
Some are content to view trees listed by others, while others require tree subject validation.
