It's advisable to think about the page name & address first.
After payment, you will be emailed a password.
Use it to look at the Contact List.
That way you can see the names already taken, then choose your own.

Open to the public means that when someone (Anywhere in the world)
finds your page (And it will be found), they can the look at it.
Do you want your page passworded, or open to the public?
(Passworded is for the entire group to look at, not just yourself)

Password opening is not a guarantee by any means.
It's simply a folder that other members can access for geneology.

Pro's & cons with respect to security vs. reclaiming old friendships.
If childhood, school or military friends are looking, this may show up!

In either case, use good judgement and limit what you put in there.
Be very careful with email & physical addresses, phone numbers, etc.
Nothing says you have to post anything at all. Blank is fine.
Indicate your choice on the form.


*Your page address will be named exactly as your email name.
So choose a name that's easy to remember as both email & web page.
(Choose 3 in decending order of preference in case of others emails)
All email names are subject to approval (See terms).

Use first names, middle initials or names, first-last name combinations.

The point is, to list names that identify you easily to relatives or others.
Email addresses and web pages can be very effective introductions.

Note: name.leazott will appear as /nameleazott.html   (No "." seperator)
Note: name-leazott will appear as /name-leazott.html (With "-" between)
Note: name_leazott will apear as /name_leazott.html (With "_" between)

Try to think how the same name will look on both presentations.
Be sure to put some thought into what it is you would like them to say.
The idea is to convey an easy system to your followers.
Mixing is prohibited because it inhibits others with same or similar names.

*Contact area name to be displayed field:
This is what will be posted in your state & alphabetical listings.
Example: Fred L, F Leazott, Freddie or other.
This will be linked to your email adress.
Due to hackers, email addresses are not directly displayed on any pages.

Controversial and inappropriate data or pictures will not be posted.
This is a family website for family oriented interaction. Rules apply.
No causes or rants of any kind allowed through any of its methods.


*No data is fine also.
Some people may want email, but not want a contact page.
While others may want a page listed, but not want the email listed.
Either case is fine...
Write "NONE" in the contact fields area that you do not want posted.
Use the text block area for any other information you would like posted.
